All of the webinars hosted by VCGI are recorded (barring technical difficulty) and posted at our Youtube channel.

Sometimes it is best to start at our Event Archive, however, to see if there are additional documents posted, like the powerpoint used in the presentation!

For your convenience...

You can now purchase all of the imagery collected during the 2015 Orthophoto collection on an external drive:

  • Southern VT - Windham and Bennington Counties
  • .5 meter pixel, 4-band color and black and white

You can still download individual images here, and the imagery will be available as a service and via custom download soon (all for free), but if having all of the imagery mailed to you on an external drive would make your life/work here to go to the products page to order the drive for only $100!

To be collected in spring of 2016!

The Office of Purchasing & Contracting on behalf of the Vermont Center for Geographic Information (VCGI), a Division of the Agency of Commerce and Community Development (ACCD), is soliciting competitive sealed, fixed price proposals for a new digital orthophotographic base from qualified bidders.  If a suitable offer is made in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP), VCGI may enter into a contract  to have the selected bidder perform all or part of the Work.  The RFP provides details on what is required to submit a Proposal in response to this RFP, how VCGI will evaluate the Proposals, and what will be required of the Contractor in performing the Work.

Story Maps allow you to share map information in a graphically effective format, with photos and narrative adding deeper context to your map. Anyone can create a Story Map - whether you have ArcGIS software or not!
